It’s where the serious networking takes place
Andrew Batty - Creative Marketing Services
“I picked up a contract which delivered over £20k of work on my second visit
to a Met Club event. Needless to say, I’m a regular and always enjoy meeting up
with Met Club colleagues.”
“My two favourite aspects of the Met Club are that firstly, it is a genuinely
relaxed networking experience, made more so by a free drink! Secondly, it genuinely
works –there are no pressures for referrals and sales, but you’ll find that within
a couple of meetings, you’ll get to know other members on a friendly and open
basis. This means that you can make genuine business relationships that stand
the test of time and economic climate.”
Neil Beattie – Expo Design
The Met Club is a networking group that has really worked for me, as a Business
Development Manager. Consistent attendance over the past two years has enabled
me to develop an excellent database of local contacts, and has helped establish
both me and my organisation, Saint Michael’s Hospice, in the business community.
This has increased my personal profile and resulted in substantial support for
Saint Michael’s through our Guild of Patrons. The Met Club provides a relaxed
environment at the end of a working day, without pressure or expectations. Business
breakfasts and luncheons are always well organised and attended, with significant,
relevant speakers, in upmarket venues. A great way to develop new business relationships,
build trust and gain mutual support.’
